cluster of Porcelain fungi on the trunk of a beech tree

Oudemansiella mucida. This beautiful fungi is at home high in the branches of a living beech tree (they're at home on small pockets of dead wood). Thankfully these examples were low to the ground as there is no room for a ladder in my camera bag.
