Ginko

Just after the rain - my favorite tree - the Ginko Biloba. This tree has been around since before the dinosaurs and has changed very little.

This particular one is in my parents' garden in Suffolk. I took the picture from a first floor window. It had been raining and it was overcast. the dark background was a shaded footpath.

Nearer my own home - there is a magnificent specimen next to Bristol's museum. It is at its very best in the autumn when the leaves have turned the most beautiful yellow. The pavement gets dressed in a wonderful carpet when they fall. I hope to do it justice with my camera this year so look out for it on the website.
