A thoroughly modern henge
The piles for the tower were efficiently installed, and for a short while they form a circular enclosure of pillars.
Viewed from above (I was at the end of the pier) they cast these strong shadows - that is some impressive sundial ( I'd say from the fall of the shadows and the date it must've been about 10:37 and 42 seconds when I took the picture).
For an idea of scale look to 1 o'clock and you'll be able to see a girl on the beach.
