New Struts
All lined up ready for transport.
These steels are the diagonal crossmembers between the piles.
A fork lift is used to carry them, two at a time, to the end of the peir ready for installation.
The fixing collars and bolts at the top and bottom have already been replaced, so it's just a cse of swapping the crossmembers over, one at a time. Simple then - just like Meccano...only bigger, and heavier, and stronger...well okay, a little bit like Meccano then.
