New arrivals in Tiny Things

For a long time there was just one photograph in the "Tiny Things" Gallery - a single lonely two spot ladybird. Well I've given him some company.

I was watering the garden when I spotted a larger ladybird tucked up in a chive flowerhead. I had to wake him up for the "action" shots.

Whilst the camera was out I tried my hand at capturing the detail within the flowerhead itself - check out the black and white result that is new in the "Flora" gallery. The background was in shadow except for a distrating plant stem on the left hand side. I used a little Photoshop magic to get the uniform black.
