A trip to Bristol

Bristol University Department of Chemistry - or is it Roald Dahl's chocolate factory?
Bristol University Department of Chemistry - or is it Roald Dahl's chocolate factory?
Louise and I arrived early for Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Bristol Museum. The photographs were inspirational (aren't they always?).

My favourites:

Bear Glare by Sergy Gorshkov (Sergy wasn't out to photograph bears - he was in a river photographing fish when the bear tapped him on the shoulder - it's amazing there is no camera shake!),

Owl Glare by Régis Cavignaux (wisdom, composure, power, and "what are you looking at?")

Ice Glare...only kidding - "Ice Creation" by Robert Knight (I love icebergs - this picture captures the beauty of their colour form, scale, and tempestuous environment),

Check out the links page to visit the official website.

Anyway...back to my modest offerings. I was taken by the light on the roof of one of the university buildings - I think it belongs to the chemistry department. Do you like it? I've written more to go with the copy in the urban gallery - please take a look.
