A Day on the River Bank

It looked as though I'd missed the best of the weather by 11:30. The day started well, blue sky, fluffy clouds, but the forecast was for misery and sure enough, just before noon it started to rain.

I took a gamble. Wrapped up warm, and set off down the side of the River Brue. As luck would have it the weather forecast wasn't quite right. It should have been described as variable. A stiff breeze and broken cloud worked together to give me glimpses of sunshine. Not perfect, but good enough.

You can see some of the results in the Rural Landscapes Gallery. Some of the things you won't see include a wet left foot, two muddy knees and a ruddy face - I'll leave these to your imagination. Oh how I must suffer for my art!

It was great to be out and about again!
